| Private Pilot Licence Course (PPL) |
Student can choose Fixed-Wing training for PPL(A) licence or Helicopter training for PPL(H) licence. The training consists of not less than 40 hours flight training, which will include at least 10 hours "SOLO", as stipulated by the HKCAD. Flight Training will cover the following exercises: (missed approach/landing procedure) (emergency, fuel shortage, weather deterioration) All of the above subjects will be examined during the
General Flight Test (GFT) The current "Dual" flying charges per hour on fixed wing
using C152 is HK$2,150 & C172/C182 is HK$2,400-2,550, on
helicopter using R22 is HK$3,500 & R44 is
HK$5,400. |

| Ground Course |
Written examination on each following topics are set by the Civil Aviation Department (CAD). The Ground Course is organised on demand to assist student pilots to sit for the exams and to learn knowledge on general aviation. |

HKAC students can complete the whole AOPA Aerobatics course and obtain their AOPA Aerobatics certificate in Hong Kong. Full details of the course will be made available our resident flying instructor. Hong Kong CAD authorized Aerobatic Instructor is Bob Tandy. |

The HKAC also offers an AFIC, Assistant Flying Instructors Course, details can be discussed with the Chief Flying Instructor at 2711-5555. |
