Student can choose Fixed-Wing training for PPL(A) licence or Helicopter training for PPL(H) licence.  The training consists of not less than 40 hours flight training, which will include at least 10 hours "SOLO", as stipulated by the HKCAD.  Flight Training will cover the following exercises:

Written examination on each following topics are set by the Civil Aviation Department (CAD). The Ground Course is organised on demand to assist student pilots to sit for the exams and to learn knowledge on general aviation.

HKAC Flight Simulator

HKAC students can complete the whole AOPA Aerobatics course and obtain their AOPA Aerobatics certificate in Hong Kong.  Hong Kong CAD authorized Aerobatic Instructor is Bob Tandy.  Full details of the course will be made available from our Deputy Chief Flying .
